Sony’s Vaio R Master, ride the Core 2 quad wind

Looks like Sony is gearing up to cash in the consumer PC market wrapped around the Intel's new Core 2 quad processor. The spanking new Sony's flagship Sony's Vaio R Master split-tower, the flagship of Sony's desktop sports Intel's top of the line processor : the 2.4GHz Core 2 Quad Q6600. On top of that 3TB of SATA Hard drive and up to 3Gb of DDR2-667 memory can be slotted in, alone with a nVidia Quadro FX 1500 graphics, makes it one beast of a machine. But the fulled spec model VGC-RM900CPS with 24-inch, 1920×1200 LCD will burn a big hole in your pocket around ¥995,800 (about $8,241). It is expected to release on 10th of February in Japan.
