Using Non-Licensed Third Party Products Voids PS3 Warranty

Using Non Licensed Third Party Products Voids PS3 Warranty

There has been some discussion going on whether or not using non-licensed third party products (such as cables) voided your PS3's warranty. I'm afraid my friend, it does, and it's clearly stated in said warranty:

    (2) THE PRODUCT IS USED WITH PRODUCTS NOT SOLD OR LICENSED BY SCEA (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NON-LICENSED GAME ENHANCEMENT DEVICES, CONTROLLERS, ADAPTORS AND POWER SUPPLY DEVICES). YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS AND LIABILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH USE OF THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS.

So if your PS3 breaks and you send it the Sony to check whats wrong, and if they ask you did you ever used any third party non licensed products with your PS3, just say Using Non Licensed Third Party Products Voids PS3 Warranty "NO". Othervise you just voided your 500$ console's warranty,
