Looks like HD DVD cracker muslix64 hasn't finished yet, he's back with a vengence now Blu-Ray is busted. Alone with another anti-DRM cracker, Janvitos, they claim that they had cracked Blu-Ray's implementation of AACS. Although they haven't yet cleared BD+ copy-protection, but they seem to be sure that the same key-grabbing known-plaintext attack to crack HD DVD will do the same to crack Blu-ray without even using a disc or drive (apparently they just used a raw encrypted data file and nothing more).Unfortunately they haven't yet posted code for us to test this out, we will keep you updated if any news on this pops up.
