Boot Camp software might have been the most significant events of the PC industry for a decade. Apple making way for its hardware to Windows operating systems. Not only did it allowed Intel powered Macs to dual boot Xp, it also save users the cost of a windows license.
But unfortunately the gratis season is over, according to a report on MacScoop Stevey and friends plan to charge customers 30$ for the Boot Camp software once OS X Leopard is released, Boot Camp will then evolve itself form a beta experiment to a commercial application. Owners of present version of OSX wont have to pay this amount if they want to upgrade to OS X Leopard , it will be a standard feature for Leopard. But if you are planning to keep the old Tiger and your draft-N router for a while, sounds like you might have to shell out around $32, $30 for Boot Camp, and two bucks for unlocking your wireless card's dormant 802.11n functionality.
