Sun will offer a line of Intel-based systems with single, dual and multi-processor based servers that support Microsoft Windows, Solaris and Linux. Along with the Intel line of processors, Sun will continue to use AMD Opteron processors and Sun's SPARC processors.Intel will also endorse the x86 version of Sun's Solaris operating system.
