Hacks, cracks, whats up with hackers.Seems like they are taking every one to the slaughter house, after the HD-DVD & Blu-ray, yesterday the latest PSP firmware and now on a Xbox 360 you can install a third party hard-drive. A hacker managed to create a DOS program that for now allows only Western Digital BEVS drives to fit in the Xbox360. But the hack isn't a full proff solution, because it can't supprase the 20GB storage limit. Only if someone crack's the system kernal to remove this limitation or if if Microsoft officially releases a larger hard drive(so that the 360 "knows" to for a larger hard drive). Its in the news that a large drive for the 360 is on standy, but we are wating for Microsoft for a official word on it.
We can't find the logic here, what's the use of the hack if we can use 20GB of space.Guess what, Ofcourse its "Money", you definitely get a cheap deal with this hack. Officially a 20GB Xbox 360 hard drive costs $100, so why not just get a 100GB hard drive for $100 and wait for a patch or a hack that we are definitely sure off. Happy bargain hunting till then.
