AMD Unleashes 690G and 690V Chipsets

AMD has launched 690G & 690V chipsets with AMD 690G which integrates ATI Radeon X1250 graphics & AMD 690V which integrates ATI Radeon X1200 graphics respectively. And the companies like Asus, MSI, ECS, Biostar & Albatron are few who have show cased the motherboards with these chipsets. With the two new chipsets you can expect a performance boost in the games (compared to other onboard graphics used previously), infact they are better than nVidia & Intel chipset boards.

Dell seems to be launching “Dell Cell”

We have already seen a phone from Apple, the iPhone. And are still waiting for another phone from Microsoft i.e.  the greatly rumoured Microsoft Zune Phone. Now, it seems that Dell is also thinking of launching a phone, taking its first step in the mobile phone market.

The actual thing is that Dell recently has hired Ron Garriques, head of Motorola’s mobile products division and Michael Dell, founder, CEO and Chairman of Dell Inc., was mentioned saying that “a new global consumer organization” was being created with help of Ron.

Asus says! Aura concept phone is not the real deal

Well we got a company mail from Asus that the Aura concept phone that was believed to be under development form Asus by a Hungarian design company Egy Studio, its just fake according to Asus. Why would a Asus would put up its name on a concept phone if its ain’t real. Also they should have contacted the design studio before getting in touch with us and asking us to remove posts without any proof of the matter.

BitTorrent opens its online store with legal movie, TV show downloads with 5000 titles for just $3-4 each. With big studios like 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate, MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, MGM the Bittorrent community can now rent movies, purchase TV shows & music videos. Movie rentals cost $3.99 for new release & $2.99 for catalog titles, where as for TV shows & music video you can own it at $1.99 each.

Norton 360 released

Symantec announced the availability of Norton 360 today. Its a combination of antivirus, antispyware, firewall, intrusion protection, anti-phishing, backup and tune-up, eliminating the need to purchase and manage multiple products. Norton 360 is now available for purchase through the Symantec online store .

It will be available for purchase at various retail locations and online retailers in March 2007.

An optional add-on pack with Anti-Spam and Parental Controls will also be available to Norton 360 customers in mid-March through an optional add-on pack at no additional charge.
