Ive been having hardships installing the stupid driver for my w810 on vista. Ive tried the CD, driver files, PC suite, EVERYTHING! It still shows up on my PC as “no driver” or something and i really need your help. thanks

This method worked perfectly for me – I have a sony W850I and did not need to install mrouter – The installation looked as though it had stopped about 95% into the install, But I left it for 10 minutes and it finished.

Thanks for the package (not DL’d it yet) I’ve read your instructions and it’s what I’ve already done. The software is already installed and works great it’s just the drivers that don’t work for me and you have listed:

where do we get such drivers from?

The drivers are in your SE cd that you get when you buy the phone.
after installation insert the cd then start the software

-Edit the line called Launchcondition – Remove the first line starting with WindowsNT (Line 1,2 and 4) whereas your article states the first line only?

My pc suite is insalled but i can not connect my computer and phone.

This will absolutely in noway harm ur Vista..
So dont get scared. And regarding the official Sony ericsson software for vista….
It will be launched within few months..
I just dont know why are they delaying it so much.

I’ve also just been exploring the FJ Software site. I note that MyPhoneExplorere doesn’t work eith the Symbian phones (I use an M600i). Can I just clarify that there should be no problem (that you know of!) using your version of SmartSuite for an M600i?
