
Yet another Blu-Ray player crawled out, The AQUOS BD-HP1 is a new Blu-Ray player by Sharp. Its got a cool blue looks it only records single-layer BD-R/RE in MPEG-2 format with AAC audio for about 2-hours & also records 10 minutes of 1080p video @24Mbps.
It plays the usual discs like DVD±R/RW & DVD-RAM & it comes packed with 1x HDMI Japanese D4, S-Video, composite video outputs, support for 7.1ch sound and optical/coaxial digital audio, It also has 2x Firewire to connect BD-HP1 to your existing hard disk recorder set-up for Blu-Ray dubbing. This will be launched in Japan starting 20th March & priced at $1238.
