Europe's largest mobile carrier Vodafone has finally bought a 67% interest in the India mobile operator Hutchinson Essar for just around $11 billion in cash. Vodafone was kinda shocked when they were overtaken by China Mobile as the world's largest carrier, so they are kinda gearing up to take that crown again. Thats also nice for Hutchinson Essar,as Vadofone slashes nearly $2 billion of debt in addition to that $11billion price tag.
