Magellan has unveiled series of GPS systems called Maestro. It comes in three flavors Maestro 4000, 4040 and 4050 with price tags of $449.99, $599.99 and $799.99 respectively. The basic feature that includes in all these three are 4.3″ WQVGA full-color touch screen, will be using the SiRF Star III GPS chipset and will feature turn-by-turn voice guidance.
Maestro 4000 has only the basic features, where as 4040 has more detailed map (by NAVTEQ) compared to 4000. Also Maestro 4040 has text-to-speech voice directions, Bluetooth phone compatibility and live traffic capability (optional add-on).
Coming to Maestro 4050 its the top of the collection it has some addition to all the above features which includes the traffic kit and will also feature a voice recognition technology that will allow users to give simple voice commands to the unit.
