Cannon puts two new compact and jazzed up Powershot for people who are keen for style over substance. The Powershots Digital ELPHs, the SD750 and SD1000 respectively, might be the next fashion icons of the gadget world(don’t take my word the Nano is damn hotter). Canon has focused much of their attention on the “Dynamic Dual-Tone Elegance” But there is still enough inside to get a good response.

The Poweshots has got some good sets of features like Face Detection-based auto focus, auto exposure and red-eye correction. Also theirs that DIGIC III Image processor which can do ISO upto 1600, with a 3x zoom comes a 7.1 megapixel CCD and a nice cool 2.5-inch LCD to get those views right. Both the ELPH’s will retail around that $300.
