Microsoft brings 512MB Memory Unit for Xbox 360 and Increases Xbox LIVE Arcade Game Size Limit
Microsoft launches that much talked about 512MB Memory Unit. Hey but why would you need this memory unit if they(Microsoft) are already planning to dish out 80 to 120 GB drives in a month or so. Besides this $49 for a memory unit! damn thats too much. I rather use some XBox360 hacks to get in a 20GB drive and save some $$.
The 512MB Memory Unit comes pre-loaded with the hit Xbox LIVE Arcade game “Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved” but thats for a limited period only. Also the original 64MB Memory Unit prices will $39 to $29. They even increased the size limits of Xbox LIVE Arcade games so that the developers get more head room for their future developments. But unless you are “Microsoft Geek” i don’t think its a great investment for the time being.
