iPhone?? It has not yet been launched. It is to be launched in July in the US and the Asian launch is said to be in the later part of 2008!! Just dream, till you can even think of getting it into your pocket. Is it worth buying?? Is it worth that amount the $499?? I think you should not pocket the iPhone, rather wait for some later versions.. maybe they would call it iPhonei, or iPhone2, or something like that.
Firstly, lets talk of the looks..
Too big. Though i agree that it is a bit cool, but what about availability in different colors? Who would like to carry that wide phone in his pocket?? I don’t!
The Latest or let’s say the future stuff…
iPhone is said to be latest, and future packed.. people are crazily waiting to buy it. Ever thought, what would u do with a phone which doesn’t have 3G enabled in the future? I see the future being cramped from the desk to the palm. I myself have plans to blog from my palm after a couple of years ;).
And if u wanna stay in the present, then just think that it needs POP3 or IMAP for e- mail checking. Firstly, these services are not offered by most operators and even if they are offered, they charge something like that. I mean heavy charges. It is similar to buying an elephant. :)) First spend a lot in getting it and again spend to get the best out of it.
Like Photography??
don’t even think of getting the iPhone! It has just a 2 MP camera. Though you may think that it is one of the best cameras, but just think when some others are offering upto 5 MP in phones.
Memory!!!
8 GB?? quite enough for a normal user. Even memory cards of more than that are not available still. But, iPhone is for the future. How many days do u think will it take to get a memory card of around 32GB or even more than that?? And this iPhone doesn’t have expandable memory.
Battery…
Though it seems to be beating some other devices, but still, a bit more could have been packed. And I think they just forgot to make it detachable. Oh! Apple has a tradition of making non-Removable batteries. How could they break it?? :)) ;))
Missing buttons, joystick, scrollbar etc..
I agree that Apple says that these are not better than a touchscreen. But touchscreen users say that it is real difficult to use it, at least to dial a number while driving. A few buttons should have been there.
Anyone asking me?? I am waiting for the so called iPhone-i version. ;)

I’m sorry but your arguments don’t make sense.
It is to be launched in July in the US and the Asian launch is said to be in the later part of 2008!!
It’s to be released in June 2007 and EARLY 2008 in Asia not late 2008. By this stage the phone WILL be 3G as they will be entering the Europe and Australasian markets which all offer 3G. Steve Jobs said 3G is on its way.
And if u wanna stay in the present, then just think that it needs POP3 or IMAP for e- mail checking. Firstly, these services are not offered by most operators and even if they are offered, they charge something like that. I mean heavy charges.
.Mac, Yahoo, GMail, Netscape, ISPs… you name it most offer either POP or IMAP or even both mail services. In the case of Yahoo, GMail, and Netscape these services are FREE and ISPs include it in their dataplans.

If you like photography you sure as hell won’t be using a cellphone camera. You’d be using a proper camera.
8 GB?? quite enough for a normal user. Even memory cards of more than that are not available still. But, iPhone is for the future. How many days do u think will it take to get a memory card of around 32GB or even more than that?? And this iPhone doesn’t have expandable memory.
iPod Nano is 8Gb. This is incredibly popular. Tell me of a phone that’s got more than 1GB before you start nutting off about the 8Gb size of the iPhone.
But touchscreen users say that it is real difficult to use it, at least to dial a number while driving.
Driving requires full concentration. Studies show that driving while using a cellphone is more dangerous than drink driving. Therefore these dicks saying it’s tough to use the iPhone while driving need a freaking smack in the head. I hate people who text message while driving, these ones need a freaking bullet in the head.
Maybe the iPhone will eliviate this retarded use of the cellphone. There is really no call so important that you should risk your life and that of others and certainly no text messages.
The iPhone could very well reduce the road toll, or at least kill the retards who are so hard core texters that they have to look at their screens to write a text message. The latter I suppose reduces the amount of cars on the road.
Either way I really don’t think many of the comments about the iPhone are well thought out. The phone is roughly the size of the iPod and I see people holding those in their hands all the time. The software is like nothing else on the planet. It just looks so sexy.
