Seagate with its new Momentus HDD for notebooks
Seagate decided to launch in for the kill with the Momentus 7200.2 before the launch of the long waited Fujitsu’s May release of its MHW2 BJ series.
Seagate has already started to ship this comprable 2.5-inch laptop HDD with a 3 Gbps SATA interface which has doubled from 1.5 Gbps from the last version.
The all new Seagate Momentus spins itself silly at 7,200 rpm, sports perpendicular recording technology. It is available in 80GB, 100GB, 120GB, and 160GB capacities.
If you were really waiting for a fast HDD for your lappy, then its time to get this hot peice unless you’re a Fujitsu fan, in which case you’ll have to extend your wait for another two months which is due to release in May.
