Sony revealed the list of backward compatible list of games that can be played on PS3 of European version. After the criticism from Europe Sony decided to list down the games. They were criticized when Sony said that Euro PS3 version has less backward compatibility than US PS3 version. This Site lists the games which the European PlayStation 3 edition can play, the list doesn’t include lot of games that are compatible. I feel pity for European PS3 lovers, its Sony’s strategy to change the Chip so that you can’t play many PS2/PS games & have to buy PS3 version games on the other hand they are maintaining the cost of the PS3 hardware (which usually cost lot to manufacture).
