Fixing few Vista glitches

Here are some of the well know buggy problems in Vista and a quick solution of the fixes.

AMD Cool & Quiet drivers won’t load - I guess this problem occurs if you have overclocked your PC. Don’t worry the fix is are already included inside the system.

iPod hard drive gets corrupted - This issue pops up with iTunes 7.1 when using safely remove device option in the tray. Its so simple, just unplug the device manually no remove dialog’s whatsoever

VPN doesn’t work - This affects people who remote log into their PC using VPN. This one gets fixed by updating Windows.

Adobe Reader won’t work - This problem occurs only when User Account Control(UAC) is turned off. To fix it just turn it on and re-install Adobe Reader, or installing in XP Compatibly Mode.

Firewire device won’t work – This usaully happens when Vista goes to sleep while the device is plugged in. It’s a mass storage driver issue (Sbp2Port.sys) that only needs to be updated.

When I type the word “you” in Vista, the cursor jumps to the top of the page. Ugh! Very annoying and time consuming. It happens in and out of the application, i.e., when I am surfing or filling in an “leave a comment” form like this one. Can anyone help?

I have had the same type of problem with my laptop. If I touch the mouse while typing the cursor jumps to some other place on the page. I thought it was just a problem with laptops because the mouse is right below your thumbs and it’s hard to keep from touching it while typing. Got around the problem by locking the mouse down by pressing the little button above the mouse area. The cursor won’t jump around with the mouse locked. Pretty caveman way to do it but it works.

I have a brand new laptop notebook, OS vista.
I had put Paltalk on here, it worked fine the first time I used it but the next day it messed up my resolution from 32bit to 8 bit when I started paltalk. I have written paltalk twice and they gave me two different none working solutions. Told me if it didn’t work to return my laptop for trade-in. I have loaded my other things on here and taken off the Norton, since then, but McAfee and an older version of MSword but not until I tried several times to load a clean paltalk install. can anyone help me?
I wantto use paltalk on here too.
