Nintendo announces that they have done many improvements to the final version of Opera browser for Wii. The Opera browser have been available as a trial download since late December. Here is the list of the improvements they made to the browser.

Nintendo also mentioned they will release more details and other functionalities in the near future. They also said that Opera Browser for the Wii will be available for download in April. Besides that the browser will remain free for download to the Wii owners till the end of June. For those who haven’t yet had their hands on the Opera browser can go to Wii Shop Channel and download it for 500 Wii Points. Looks like now the giants are after console browser segment. Sony’s web browser for PS3 is great, the Wii browser also looks promising. Nows lets wait and watch if Microsoft has some thing cooking for the Xbox360.
