Microsoft Live labs puts down an interesting view on mobile browsing today with a preview of their mobile browsing interface,Deepfish. Deepfish is designed to give users a far better browsing experience then previously possible. With the Deepfish you can see an entire web page on your Windows Mobile screen and then zoom into specific area you wanna read, click and do whatever. Microsoft touts Deepfish will make browsing full-sized Web pages faster and easier. Deepfish automatically adjust a normal desktop webpage into a smaller more accessible version for the mobile screen. Only grip is that it takes up a snap of the page and shows up in a smaller form , so dynamic content gets it into trouble it could have been a great achievement if it could have done dynamic content too.
But the controls are darn too simple, just hit that joystick to bring up a small gray focus window, move it where you like then poke at it once more to get zoomed. Pushing at the joystick again displays an arrow that lets you click on other elements and even fill up. Now hit the download link and see for yourself, but hurry as the preview is only for limited period.
