These were the sentences quoted by the NY daily News…

City Councilman Peter Vallone, The chairman of the Council’s Public Safety Committee said, “Setting Grand Theft Auto in the safest big city in America would be like setting Halo in Disneyland,”

“It’s despicable to glamorize violence in games like these, regardless of how far-fetched the setting may be,” said Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly.

The sheer audacity of the whole situation is just mind-boggling, especially because it comes from a legitimate newspaper NY daily that’s known for legitimate journalism.

This entire reaction stinks of unresearched bias and hypocrisy, even though there are huge crimes going on in the city, they state the above statements. If you watch some reality shows, your certain to fetch some real crimes going on in NY.
