Google Renames Froogle

Google renamed its shopping portal to ‘Google Product Search’, not only that it has also added few features. The reason for this is that Froogle was losing traffic steadily for last few months & almost down by 2.7 million unique visitors from Dec 2006.

Froogle was launched in 2002 with merger of Frugal & Google (thus Froogle). Google Product Search will now dawn a new user interface to buy with checkout & will show results in a organized way.
