
Lexar famous for its pen drives and memory cards recently announced USB 2.0 based ExpressCard SSDs in three sizes of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. This was the next company to announce a 16GB ExpressCard SSD after Transcend.

This card like the one released by transcend supports ReadyBoost in Windows Vista to help improve system performance in Vista. The ExpressCard standard is the ideal form factor for leveraging PC card technology and providing notebook users with a simple, more reliable way to significantly boost system performance,” said Lexar’s Fashid Tabrizi.
This card also comes with auto-backup software which will help travelling businessmen, home users, etc to backup their data without much difficulty.
The three cards are priced as follows; 4GB- $129.99, 8GB- $199.99, 16GB- pricing not yet available.

Just bought this card for my sony laptop… Amazing product. Plugged into my laptop and got 4gb extra ram using readyboost.
