This is basically for those who want to experience the kewl effects in Windows Vista, Nvidia has mainly launched this to encourage users to get 7200GS at as low as $50 and enjoy the new Vista. GeForce 7200GS supports DX9 with shader model 3.0, 128MB or 256MB DDR2@800Mhz memory, 450Mhz core speed & supports PureVideo processing. Though its not sure that it supports PureVideo HD or High-Definition video decoding.
Nvidia has made few tweaks in 7200GS which uses same core as that of 7300 series & now 7200GS does the job with half the pipelines compared to 7300. GeForce 7200GS delivers 50% performance compared to integrated graphics, but ironically AMD’s 690G integrated graphics has more pixel pipelines than 7200GS.
