This time its Pioneer to come up with something really deadly in this generation of plasma HDTVs. This time Tvs based on the all new plasma technology receive a big increase and boost, thanks to Pioneer for their introduction of new generation plasma HDTV which they call as the 8th generation plasma HDTV.
Pioneer is introducing its 8th generation plasma TV, giving audiences blacks that are 80% darker than anything currently available. Pioneer uses a deep encased cell structure, crystal emissive layer and first surface color filter which helps its new screens boast a contrast ratio of 20,000:1. Wow now thats something really awesome.

Pioneer will be introducing the all new ultra black technology- Project Kuro, which means “black” in Japanese. These TVs will have different range of sizes varying from 42, 50 and 60-inch screen sizes supporting full 1080p resolutions.
Pioneer has not yet declared the pricing, well give you more info once we get to hear. Stay in touch…
