Amsterdam is the first city that became 100% 3D in Google Earth, now you can see the entire city in 3D. All the buildings are visible in gray 3D models according to their shapes. The buildings are created from 2.5D view, just like for any other city. To view it in 3D you have to download this Google Earth File from here, then open it using Google Earth.
