We seen quite a bit of USB powered devices, few looking smart, few quite cute. But a USB felt-covered calculator synth synth thats pretty damn strange! Kelli Cain and Brian Crabtree put together this cool device at Felt Circuits workshop in LA, thou not much details on the stuff. But you can easily figure out its a 8″x 6 calculator constructed from dyed wool glued together.

Here’s whats Kelli writes: “Here’s the creature I made during the class to show each step… a roughly 8″x 6″ calculator. it plugs into the usb port [for power] and makes a bunch of noise when you touch the metal contacts sewn on the bottom.”

But fellows hold on, don’t think this will be up for sales! But who cares ” I really love this gadget!” Hope so more of this workshops keep in flowing.
