Microsoft seems to be really working hard on Vista. We had earlier heard that Vista will be getting its Sp1 pretty soon. Now, WinFuture.de has managed to get some information regarding the new Windows Vista ServicePack 1. There was a PowerPoint slide mentioning the existence of Vista SP1 during a WinHEC chalk talk on “The Future of Input†at this week’s show.
The new service pack for Vista will be as Windows Build 6001 Service Pack 1, v113.
The most important upgrade will be the PatchGuard API (application programming interface), for software vendors. Other than this other upgrades are minor ones. Many people expect Microsoft will soon patch and fix any flaws in Windows Vista via Windows Update Services.
