Sandisk give-aways $5000 gold cards

One thing that i like about modern human is its never ending quest for something cool and eye catching. Here is something that Sandisk, lead manufacturer of memory related products has done….. something eye catching.

Sandisk decides why not a contest for those who purchase their Extreme IV 8GB CompactFlash or UltraII 4GB SDHC cards in marked packages. The prize!….. guess what chance to win solid gold versions of the same cards.

No suprise the cards weighs a little bit more then their plastic brothers. The CompactFlash card around 150g, while the SDHC gold card at just 35g, which is worth at a staggering $5000 if some how you could manage to melt it down.
