Dell Inc. recently announced that it will withdraw the LCD television business. Dell will end production of its LCD TV’s by the end of this June. The main motive of this move is to concentrate on computer systems. Dell started the television business in 2003 in order to show that it not only focused on computers but it also did in the field of electronics.
Dell doesn’t manufacture any LCD TVs on its own but it buys them from OEMs in Asia. Dell LCD televisions are popular for their pricing with respect to the features.
Currently the main buyers of these are USA and Japan.
