Toshiba Corp. has now added to its range of Laptops a new series called the Dynabook SS RX Notebook series. The most eye-catching thing here is the 12.5 hrs of battery life. It is surely going to boast a lot of its battery life, which it has the right of.

This announcement was made in Japan, with features disclosed but not the names. This seems to be strange to some extent, but the company surely has some secret plans.

This series is said to be the world’s lightest notebook PC, a version with flash memory storage and optical disk drive that weighs in at 848 grams making it extremely portable and with that battery life, extremely travel friendly. Its sister model is the world’s lightest with a hard drive and optical drive, and weighs just 959 grams.

After making it light enough, the word came of making it slim. This whole range will have the slimmest case, only 19.5mm at the slimmest point.

Other mention-worthy features of Dynabook SS RX laptops are:
