The iphone wont be having flash, it certainly seems to be a bad news for all iphone fans. When i was going through the Macworld 2007 keynote by Steve Jobs in engadget. He was showing web browsing with Safari, it seemed to be great but i noticed one thing that the iphone lacks flash support.
Apple told developers at the WWDC to not put Flash video into their sites designed for the iPhone. Apple said that there wont be Flash support at the moment on the iPhone. This means that there wont be flash support while you purchase one, but dont worry, they might include a plugin for the safari browser which would enable the flash support.
Flash support support is very essential as it will the web developers to create interactive web pages. Currently the iphone is supporting support Quicktime video streaming. But Flash seems to be more popular and widely used than quicktime for video streaming. I guess Apple has some unique future plans for the iphone, who knows they might even include something special for the iphone, lets wait and watch.
