Samsung today announced its 1080p 70″ LCD TV in Korea. The great part of this TV is that it is the first commercial Full HD TV ever with selective local LED backlighting. Aint that great? Now whatâ€™s local LED blacklighting? Itâ€™s nothing but a feature in which the TV can turn off the LEDs in dark areas of the image on its own. It also has LED scanning which eliminates flickering of screen

Another amazing feature of this TV is that it reduces the power consumption by 50%. This TV will be available all over the world after the second half.
