Matt Casamassina from IGN confirms that he’d played Halo on the Nintendo DS. But it was still unlikely and the rumor burned up. But on IGN’s Wii podcast for 6/15/2007 Mr. Casamassina is still holding on his claim, here’s what he had to say:

“It’s a real game… we’re going to lay down some ownage next week or soon afterward by showing you guys that it is a real game.“

Sounds great thou, just a tad little long for a podcast( around half an hour). IGN is kinda gearing up to make this a little special with all the rumor and stuffs. As for Halo for DS they did say it feels like Metroid Prime Hunters with Master Chief. Guys keep an eye for the  IGN’s Wii page after the weekend.
