The Enertia Electric MotorcycleThe Enertia Electric Motorcycle
Here’s the all new Brammo Enertia electric motorcycle. It’s designed by an Oregon-based manufacturer- The Ashland. This electric motorcycle has a driving range of about 50 miles and a 0-30 mph time of 3.8 seconds. Whoa! That’s really cool for an electric bike, well this seems to be certainly more than an electric bike, isn’t it?

This bike doesn’t require gas or oil, and thus proves to be environment friendly. And the most exciting part is that it doesn’t get hot neither it has an exhaust. It has no clutch or gearbox. It is light and narrow, and practically maintenance-free. It’s light and just weighs 275pounds.

The bike has six 12 Volt lithium-phosphate batteries which don’t blow up when punctured. They can be fully recharged within three hours. To our surprising part, most of the cell phones don’t even charge that fast.

Well regarding the pricing it seems to be really a big hole in your pocket. Brammo is currently taking online orders in the U.S., the limited edition “Carbon” model will cost you $14,995, which is to be delivered in the first quarter of 2008. You can also book the standard model for $11,995.
