As always Google likes to jump wherever their is some possibilities for the dollars. The upcoming 700MHz wireless spectrum auction is all set to be a little heated affair as Google says that it will join the auction if few conditions met their expectations. To be specific Google wants FCC to set the spectrum opened up i.e “open applications, open devices, open networks, and open services” and it seems to drive the nail straight through as FCC Chairman Kevin Martin’s recent press meets. Google say’s its prepared to bid up in the $4.6 billion region if the conditions come inline with their expectations. I guess they will one day like to bid for our home utilities too ;).
