         Nokia launches the N81, N81-8GB, N95 8GB, Nokia 5310 and 5610 XpressMusic!

Nokia launches four new music based mobile phones namely the N81, N81-8GB, N95 8GB and Nokia 5310 and 5610 XpressMusic.

Lets start with the N81 and N81 8GB. The Nokia N81 is quite a stunning device, hats of to nokia for putting in lots of stuffs inside a quite compact design. The N81 features include mostly like that of the N95, but only a 2MP camera and it’s not armed with a Carl Zeiss lens. The N81 is more of music and gaming, not for the camera geek. Thou we haven’t haven’t got our hands on it still reports for outer sites states that the side-mounted stereo speakers were one of the most powerful from Nokia (SE beware of this monster). The headphone jack is a 3.5mm headphone connector, connectivity includes 3G (European bands) and Wi-Fi. When you look at its gaming capabilities first thing you will notice is the the four-way pad which works as a D-pad when flipped on its side…ala”Helio Ocean” The N81 is based upon their revamped N-Gage gaming platform which seems too be dry at the moment and also developers will take up their time to make their games playable in that landscape orientation.

The Nokia N81 8GB is expected for $599 with 8GB of internal memory and the N81 for $499 with 2GB removable microSD upgradeable upto 4GB.

Now lets checkout the Nokia next stunner the N95 8GB. By far the best handset available in the market when it comes to multimedia. Now it just got better with a huge 2.8″ QVGA display instead of a 2.4″ screen and 8GB’s of internal storage and 30% better battery life. Its expensive thou at $749, seriously because of the lack of US compatible HSDPA.

Last not the least are the 5310 and the 5610 XpressMusic. The 5610 is a slider. It sports a 2.2-inch screen, 3.2MP camera, a microSD slot. 3G (European band) sorry folks Nokia always keeps its US policy on hold. I’d point out the 16 million color display looks quite cool and colorful. Dedicated music bottoms and easy access to its music player with a flick of the thumb on the toggle in its face. The 5310 is quite the same expect for the has a 2MP camera and a 2-inch screen with dedicated buttons for media playback. Quite noticeable is its 9.9mm thick body. At 300 and 225 Euros each coming this fall to Europe. Both devices are compatible with the Nokia’s newly launched Music store.
