  At Apple’s 5th Apple event lots of things happened, few product reviling as well as some price cuts and feature announcements. Here’s how it went, the major announcements came for the iPods with new product line alongside few iPhone announcements.

First if you look at iPod touch you’ll mistake it for an iPhone but guys this is actually an iPod with the iPhone looks and features. The new number uno iPod the iPod Touch sports the same “the same size screen as the iPhone” but being much thinner at around 8mm, “Wow thats small” not to mention the multi-touch interface will be insulting its name. It also boast the 3.5-inch widescreen display, it even has the “slide to unlock” and the ability to flick around with your photos. Another noticeable feature is the built in “WiFi” which means we can surf the web, buy iTunes on your iPod which we will discuss below and comes loaded with Youtube application. As far as the battery life is concerned the “Touch ” as Mr Jobs mentions will last for a 22hrs for audio and around 5hrs during video playback. For around $299 and $399 you can choose from 8GB and 16GB flavors , respectively when it arrives in few more weeks.

Apple’s new iPod classic

Apple’s iconic iPod classic never seems to be out of the limelight and here’s why. The sixth generation iPod “classic comes with an new interface touted the Cover Flow. The new iPod comes  in 80GB and 160GB capacities, The 80Gb sports a 30 hours of battery for audio playback, 6 hours of during video, while the 160GB does in around 40 hours from audio and 7hrs of video. The classics’s are coming for around $249 for the 80 gigs, $349 for 160. Also both are getting a shinny new metal shell. Atmost by weekend hitting stores.

Apple’s new 3rd gen iPod nano

When it comes to product launches of iPod you can’t leave Nano out and Mr Jobs doesn’t disappoints us. The new Nano looks mostly like the spied photos. The new units will ship with the 2-inch QVGA, 320 x 240 displays and 65% brighter then the previous versions. The widescreen player will sport an “enhanced” UI and its version of Cover Flow. If you like games it comes bundles with three games plus you will find more to purchases the iTunes store. Battery life of around 24 hours of playback for audio, and 5 hours for video. The 4GB will sell for $149 only be in the silver coating while you can choose the 8GB with many colors for $199. Both come this weekend to stores.
