Golf is a game, that most people, especially industrialists like. When Wii was launched with the 3D-interface, even in its promotions, Golf was shown as an example. Now here comes something for passionate Golfers.

This is the Golf Launchpad, which is a USB device that connects to PC, Mac and PS2. Once connected it allows you to actually hit the ball and have the ball in the video game react. The makers have tried their best to give real-time interface.

Intel to acquire Havok, in-game physics company!

September 17th, 2007

Intel to acquire Havok, in game physics company!
Intel
announces that they are to acquire Havok, a big name in the ingame physics algorithms which has powered many big name games which includes BioShock, Stranglehold, Halo 2, Half Life 2, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, and many others. They also specialize in creating special effects in movies to name a few…Poseidon,The Matrix, Troy etc.

The acquisition gives Intel a strong front on the digital animation and gaming front but on the contrary Ageia will be pissing on it pants as they haven’t been able to make a mark with the hardware PhysX processor as game developers and the gaming community hasn’t grasped it yet. Intel’s the big daddy.

Inflatable Robot for Just 49$

You can find this Mega Mech Airmagination inflatable robot on Wallmart selling for just $49. This is a remote controlled robot which is actually something like a balloon on a car. I mean to say that this robot has wheels and above it it’s nothing but just a balloon. This robot is over 48″ tall, now that’s what I call awesome.

This robot also has a voice chip allows it to speak prerecorded phrases in a robotic tone. Way to go Mr Robot, keep rocking!

Most Expensive Chair in the World!

$ 2.4 million for a aluminum and fibreglass lounger thats shocking! This futuristic looking designs which resembles few aspects for an airplane, also called the Lockheed Lounge was designed by Marc Newson in 1986….he liked to call it “fluid aluminum form”. It expects to fetch in around $1.6 million or $2.4 million at auction next month at Christie’s in London. Thou it looks cool but i doubt my ass will have some stiff competition for comfort.

AnySIM iPhone Unlock App goes live!

September 16th, 2007

AnySIM iPhone Unlock App goes live!

It has been iPhone all the way, from its launch to the first successful unlocking from AT&T carrier. We have gone through few GUI versions of iPhone unlock apps from the opensource and even the paid ones but finally iPhone Dev Team’s gets it together. Catch is… the source code for the anySIM won’t be released for few days, so you have to wait for a few days to know how they made it happen.
