It's actually pretty slow. I'm on a &MB ADSL 2 line and it takes 10 seconds to power up. But I do see the problems in your source code rather than hosting. You have a whole bunch of errors (110 according to firebug) you need to fix to ensure web standards are met, which will aid your load times.

It's real basic things like a div in your , which I'd say will clear up a whole bunch of other errors as that was visible to me while the site was loading.

If you need a web designer to take a look, my hourly rate is not that expensive for repairs.

Thanks for understand what was on the post. Hows the load time on my site from your place. It seems fast from here. Actually week before the hosting crisis i got stumble upon on few articles nearly 5k visitors first day.The old hosting stood up but maybe their SQL and Apache was doing problems thats why CPU usage was way high. I have too see godaddy's reactions on CPU usage haven't got the reply till now. Main reason i don't want to jump on the dedicated servers stuffs because i would be more busy running the server rather then putting something on the blog. he he ;)

Yes, that's business. I know of one other case where they tried to access his details many more times than he asked them to or they said they would.

It has been tough for them, though, but they still get my vote. My site always loads superfast, they don't mind my stupid questions on how to do things, you get to hang out and learn on the forums from the cream of web developers and finally, if you hit the big-time, you won't crumble under the digg-effect. I'm not worried about the latter, but my clients are hosted on my GS and so downtime costs me personally. As a freelancer, it's already tough enough, so I pay 20 bucks a month because I trust them.

See you next year!

No never mind i'm just a frustrated customer blogging out, actually i should have made a long post on all the hosts tat i encountered last week. I like MT very much, i have many friend bloggers whom i have recommend MT and got them signed up to MT. But only this time when i was about to jump to the MT ship, i got boomed.

Simple problem is with them is that when it comes to money they are never shy, when solving problems they are late. I just used the fake credit card method as written by MT needed to pay via paypal. Even the fasle credit card they tried to process that 10 times.
One strange thing occurred last night, if MT wont accept month to month payment via paypal why did the payment processor credit me $17 bucks for the month payment. Dono whats wrong with MT this year.

Surely next year will be better for MT. This year has been tough for MT peoples following the MySql and other problems that frequented. Hope for the best. I'll come to MT next year for sure.

Fair enough, maybe I'm a bit harsh. I just saw his post last month and now this one as being a case of "don't whine at something you haven't really tried". I understand the frustration about customer support. I can say (and trust me that I don't get paid to say this, you have my website there) once you are "in", it's a lot easier to get support. I know they are recruiting customer services, but they do have high standards.

I'm sure your logon problem will be related. If you want, I can direct one of their customer support over here to come and speak with you?

Read the blog post properly, i'm not just telling MT sucks, lots of other webhosts doing the same.

I can't wait for 24hrs for a response, MT has oversold thats their problem i never asked them to sell to such extent that they can't handle customer support.(MT seriously needs dozens of customer support guys)

MT was good when they were small, now they are big they don't care about a tiny customer. Nike, Adidas, Sony are hosted on tailor made hosting solutions from MT, they aren't hosted on the tiny GS. I haven't been able to log on the account panel(but MT home page is up) since last night dono whats the problem, still timeout error pops up.

You can praise them as you like maybe they have even paid you to praise them, i don't care.I might love MT in future only when the customer support and the down time and slowness. The grid was supposed to be up 24x7 365, they even guarantee they will response even on the new year's eve. Seriously I'm not a moron neither he is.

Found you via that other whinger's blog you posted at. You need to try before posting out. I've been with mediatemple for awhile and only had a few SECONDS downtime, so how you've been down the whole time is utter bollocks. Just because you're pissed off at them for diddling you out of 17 dollars (which I'd say is worth it, I pay more than that a month and am satisfied!)

The reason their customer support is so busy is that mediatemple is growing rapidly and they are struggling to keep up in that department. But, they have live search knowledgebase, a forum with some of the worlds best web developers and a gorgeous admin panel with free urchin stats system. So most people can get help from any of those systems before going to the customer support. All those big names out there, starbucks, Nike, Adidas, Sony. They are not wrong you know. They phoned me 11000 miles international on a cellphone, just to make sure it was me who was processing a card payment. They are loyal and the only negative about them, as with any great thing, is the people who can't be bothered to actually try it and shy away from using the thing for a while first before making crap blog posts about how crap they are when they never even where with them. Ciao.
