SyncMaster 940UX- Samsungs first USB-based LCD display

Time and again we get products that are quite the same old boring stuffs but few tiny yet creative enhancements give the products a new life. This is what happing with new LCD monitors which can be used using your standard USB port rather then the VGA port. Samsung thinks they too need put something like this in the market.
SyncMaster 940UX Samsungs first USB based LCD display

The 940UX that will offer USB as an alternative to the conventional DVI and VGA connectors. But still if you want to use the conventional connectors, Samsung got it covered. The display draws power from both its own hardware as well as the CPU of a host PC to drive the display.

The monitor is shipping for US now for $379. Sorry Mac and Linux users, the USB connectivity only works under Windows XP.

Does that mean it will work with a normal VGA port monito ?? Can I attach it to my laptop at USB and get dual display ? Is that also the case if I attach it with my desktop already having a VGA monitor?
    Any hint ?

Yes, Bro you can use the normal VGA ports too and you attach to the USB of your laptop or PC and get Dual display. Don’t worry though, you still have the option of using either of DVI and VGA connectors alongside the USB.
