As you’d know Skype is one of the biggest bandwidth suckers plus they are cutting out the profit margins of telecoms companies.Besides that Skype calls to other broadband-connected Skype users are free. I wonder this Skype phone might end up in the courts more often then in the hands of a customer.

Surprising! Wouldn’t it hurt 3’s revenues? I mean… if everybody could make free calls, who would pay? There should be some gimmick here!

Actually Big telecoms companies having sleepless nights due to Skype. Its report the most bandwidth suckers other then torrents and P2P users, are Skype Users. A normal call which costs people can be easily done with a broadband connection. Talk like hours without minimal bandwidth usage.

True, especially with mobile applications like Fring. Probably, that’s exactly why they impose fair usage terms while signing up for the contract.
