Cooliris Previews surf without opening new windows!
With all the daily surfing that i go through, i find it really frustrating to go trough endless scores of windows. This mostly happened due to click happy fingers clicking on just about any link it comes across. Hey what can i do if someone disguise a MLM or porn site with a what it seems to be a shopping or informative link.
But yesterday i came across a cool firefox plugin…. in one word its a blessing for me. What does Cooliris does?….Well you just need to roll your mouse over any link after few secs a floating window comes with a preview of the the link points to… So for example if you are afraid of a link that seems fishy just point you mouse of that link and a preview will come from which you can know if the link turns out useless… Cool, huh?!
Either way its a great plugin that not only makes your browsing easier and fast… it also is a lifesaver for people with half ass Internet connections. It also has cool features like sending links to friends and family. But you need to sign up for a Cooliris account, which doesn’t takes more then a minute. Once you have signed up, you can right click and select “Send link using Cooliris” to forward any links to your anyone you want.
It also comes with a search functionality but its quite different from the usual thing. Here’s why…when you perform a search, Cooliris shows the results of that search in a preview window. Thats cool no more tabs or windows to struggle with. Besides that their are lots of cool features which i suggest you having a take on.
To install the plug in, simply visit their Web site here. Then just click on the Download Cooliris button to get started. Depending on your browser pop up blocker settings, it might require you to give the permission to install Cooliris. Once Cooliris is installed, you will be required to restart your browser for it to be good to go. Cooliris works with both Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer very smoothly.
After you have installed Cooliris, not only it will save you a lot of time… it will end the never ending struggle of opening and navigating through too many windows. Go ahead and give it a try. You mean, this is something like the Snap??? if yes,, snap has their own plugin for this purpose..
No its a firefox plugin.. snap on the other hand is a webscript if i’m not wrong.
Yes,, you are wrong to a smalll extent.. Snap also has a plugin,, which you can install in your firefox.. ;)
This would enable you to use the feature of Snap.. on every website you visit.. try it out.if u like..
