Gmail has a really cool feature, Gmail’s custom ‘From:’ feature lets you send messages that display another address. As i also have to deal with day to day emails coming to my website email, its really cumbersome to email from my hosting email application(buggy as hell).

- Log in to your Gmail account at mail.google.com.
- Now head over to the settings and open the Accounts tab.
- Under Send mail as, click Add another email address.
- In the Name field, enter your full name. and in the Email address field, enter the email address you’d like to send from. Now click on Send Verification. Gmail will send a verification message to your other email address to confirm that you own it.

- Now head over to your Compose.
- Use the drop-down menu in the From field to select the address you’d like to use to send the message.
- Compose and send!
Sure, it’s more of a tip than a hack, since it’s built into Gmail.

Actually u have to verify the mail that you gono send from. It will send an activation message to your other email and in that email you will get some code which you have to insert into the verification box.

This feature is really useful and I have used it for years. Using it you can have access to all sent mails in a single mail account for any future reference.
