How to Unlock Your iPhone and fix Wifi, Youtube using iLiberty

Recently i did a tutorial on how to unlock, jailbreak and activate your iPhone using the ziphone. But i have got lots of comments related to the wifi, youtube not working. I found out that with a better tool (iLiberty) you can fix these few problems. If you can’t wait for the latest ziphone to get launched with the Wifi, youtube fixes here’s how to fix it.

But fellows i’m really sorry we have to go through the restore and unlock process again. Here’s how it goes.

Before following these instructions you should have already restored your iPhone to 1.1.4 using iTunes. After the restore make sure you connect your iPhone to your dock/computer and iTunes should have detected the iPhone after restore at least one once!

Step One

Download iLiberty+ 1.2 for Windows and Mac from here to your desktop.

Step Two

Double click the downloaded file iLibertySetup_1.2.0.65.exe or (iLibertyX.dmg) on your desktop to launch the install program. After that go through the install process.

Step Three

Once installation is complete start the program via the start menu.

Step Four

iLiberty+ will open and sit onto the standard tab. Just like the one at the bottom. How to Unlock Your iPhone and fix Wifi, Youtube using iLiberty

Check the operations you would like to perform. If you are unlocking you would most likely choose all 5 options!

Also in the Downloadable Payloads you can download the various payloads like the BSD subsytem, Open SSH for a direct install which you normally install via the Wifi.

hi, i have jailbroken my iphone with quickpwn, cuz i upgraded to firmware. 2.0 in my iphone, so i can get more apps workning.
now, i want to get my wifi to work better.
i get it for like 30 secs to connect on the phone, then gone.
does liberty support firmware 2.0? i got bootloaders 3.9 and 4.6
these are some steps i took:
-i disabled security on my router
-reset network settings on iphone several times
-jailbroke the iphone twice (just to see if it worked)
-i am using dual sim (btw, the best little thing if you need 2 sims in ur phone!)
    -set static ip on iphone

nothing of what i’ve done seems to work… =(
any suggestions how to get my wifi to work!
