It’s simply weired that in Windows Vista won’t let you uninstall Windows Defender which is kinda ultimate useless application of all time. :D Strangely it does allow uninstalling in Windows XP.

Recently i came across some crappy virus that infects all executable files in my flash drive, then creates a hidden autorun.inf file at the root of the pendrive. Each time I hook the USB drive to my friends PC thus getting infected.
Its fairly easy to stop Windows from executing instructions found in autorun.inf using registry tricks. But seriously many people do love the autorun feature.
Well we can still let Windows continue processing autorun.inf file for CD or DVD and also protect the computer from USB flash drive autorun.inf using a USB firewall. Here is a USB firewall software that blocks unwanted stuffs from your USB drive.
