When has Microsoft ever been on top of great innovations? Google came up with a cool search engine, MS was like - “Hey, thats cool! Lets build something like that”. And as we know, Live Search was born.

Well this time they got some inspiration from the Nintendo Wii. Microsoft is planning to release its own prototype of the Wiimote at the end of this year. Microsoft could clearly see that the top console players had a controller with motion sensitivity while its Xbox 360 controller was umm… well wireless atleast.

Developers at Microsoft have reportedly named it ‘X remote’. Although, there are no real proofs to confirm this news, I personally beleive the unnamed source who handed over a sketch to MTV about Microsoft’s new project.

A few weeks ago, there was a news that Rare was working on a ‘wand’ for there The Fast and the Furriest. There are already talks of games using this new controller from Microsoft.

The funniest part was that MTV had called this project a ‘Colossal Clusterf***’. Way to go Billy!!!
