Sony could no longer resist. The constant battle between hackers and Sony has finally got onto their nerves. Few months back, Sony was like “What hack ???”. Engineers at Sony are after all only human. They can’t fight piracy when cunning and intelligent people than them around the world.

Sony has finally decided to take a survey on why the heck people open up their portables. And it seems to be a psychological survey than a logical one.

Questions like - ‘Does it make you feel like a rebel when you hack a PSP’ and ‘Do you think hacking a PSP will impress others? ‘ aren’t really what I would call a typical Sony .

Sony had stated that the survey was based on the consumer research. More like,”What can we do so that you put a stop to this? “.
