Pystar’s Mac mini Clone OpenMac runs Leopard
->

Last night i wrote about free applications and my experience with homebrew Mac box. Interestingly Pystar a shaddy little company over at Miami, Florida came up an idea of selling Mac clones.
The OpenMac as they say comes with an Intel 2.2GHZ Core 2 Duo processor, a 250GB hard drive, 2GB of RAm, 4 USb ports, integrated graphics and it runs OSX Leopard. If you think inbuilt graphics isn’t so charming foran extra US$110 you can slot in an NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT graphics card.
You have to give Pystar credit for selling these right under Steve Jobs’ nose. I’m not sure why Apple hasn’t yet reacted, are you guys sleeping! Call your lawyers. But Pystar is confident enough that they could make Apple break there monopoly.
The OpenMac is on sale for $399, you can even order it with Leopard pre-installed. OpenMac’s big brother OpenPro will cost you around $999. Well the prices seem a tad steep if you look at the configuration, I rather make another hackintosh.
