Beijing 2008: Pro Warcraft III players to carry Olympic torch

Atlast after years of dedication to their (e)sport, professional Warcraft III players XiaoFeng “sky” Li and Jaeho “Moon” Jang will carry the olympic torch from China en route to the Beijing National Stadium. Gaming equipment manufacturer Razer had announced a contract for these two out of ten players to carry the olympic torch.

Both of them have a wide recognition in the e-sports industry. Sky is rated as the best human-class player Warcraft III has seen whereas Moon is the world’s best night-elf class player.

XiaoFeng Jaeho

President of Razer, Robert Krakoff had earlier highlighted the increasing boom in the gaming industry otherwise professionally called as e-sports. Looks like Chinese’s gamers have full support of the Chinese government.

Some other players are Junchun “pj” Sha and Lei “Leilei” Shen of Starcraft that are included in the torch run.
