Man, I love rumors. It just gets everyone excited especially if the rumor is on something important. Even after the repeated denials by Microsoft, people are still getting the buzz from here and there. Check out this recent one. The Chinese language newspaper Economic Daily News carried out this news about Pegatron technology acquiring orders from Microsoft of assembling the Xbox 360 with a Blu-ray drive. Pegatron technology is an OEM subsidiary of Asustek computers.

Last month, a widespread rumor about Microsoft asking Lite-On to assemble their Xbox 360s with a Blu-ray went wild. Blogs started buzzing suddenly so much that Digitimes even started a price comparison on the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. Digitimes was so confident that they even calculated the power consumption with the new drive ( which showed a consumption of 170 watts). So Billy, whats the explanation this time ?

hmmm i wouldnt count count on it because Microsoft has not specified clearly about these may be yes may be not who knows I agree rumors are really exciting but if not true then really annoying at the same time. :D so i’ll beleive it when i see it in the market.
P.S”If it is true would this be included in the package or as a separate upgrade{$$$}”

@ Hassan : If this is true, there would be a package most probably and for the already existing consoles, a 90$ extra for the addon
